I have just returned from Duncan Road Church in Park Gate, near Southampton. With a team of 6 students from Tilsley College, we have been on a week of Team Evangelism. It was a great week with opportunities to share the good news of Jesus at various activities, as well as four school assemblies. The students worked hard, not just in walking miles delivering the Challenge newspaper (see picture) but also with the talks for the assemblies, two All-Age Services, a women’s meeting, children’s and youth club, Senior Citizens’ tea and service, craft evening, men’s night… the list goes on. A lovely church with friendly, committed people – it was a joy to be able to work in partnership for the gospel with them.
