We are about halfway through the GLO team in Abrera, just outside of Barcelona. As usual, it’s pretty warm! The team this year comes mainly from the various parts of the UK, but also from the Netherlands and Egypt.
The programme mainly revolves around children’s work in the town’s main park, with games and a puppet show. As well as this, we were in the town market yesterday performing a mime (see picture). This morning, after our Bible study and time of prayer, we are off to a local Old People’s home planning to sing and teach the residents a couple of traditional Scottish dances (here’s hoping they have air conditioning!).
This Saturday evening, we are holding an International evening with food from our various countries, as well as more songs and dancing.
